Black Diamond Racing was founded out of a clear need to create a youth program that supports the future of enduro and downhill racing in a landscape largely dominated by traditional NICA teams. Our program offers an alternative pathway for young riders who are passionate about gravity-focused mountain biking. Built on the core principles of training with purpose, racing at a high level, and having fun, Black Diamond Racing has been setting a new standard since 2021. We focus on skill development, rider progression, and community. We focus on building confident athletes who carry their success from trails into everyday life.

Another one for books!
Snow Valley, our team’s first time taking on the SoCal circuit, and it did not disappoint. The unfamiliar terrain threw plenty of challenges our way, but the crew rose to the occasion, riding hard, learning fast, and leaving it all out on the course. And to top it off, a return to the throne Coach @vincentbrickey brought home the dirt gold!

Lukas T. Swidler, founder of MTBX, started the program in 2020 to get more kids on bikes and explore trails across the greater Bay Area. Based in the Santa Cruz Mountains, Lukas brings a versatile riding style and a passion for adventure, helping riders build skills, confidence, and a love for the sport on the trail.
Vincent Brickey, MTBX Regional Director and Coach, is a dedicated mountain biker with expertise in enduro and downhill riding. With years of riding and coaching experience, Vince focuses on strong fundamentals, smooth flow, and helping riders progress with confidence on the trail.
