Black Diamond Racing, the elite youth team of MTBX, is built for passionate and skilled young riders ages 10 to 17 who are ready to take their mountain biking to the next level. Designed for those with advanced riding experience, our program goes far beyond racing it’s about building a community, growing as athletes, and embracing the adventure.

Led by the dedicated and experienced Coaches Lukas and Vince, Black Diamond Racing offers a well-rounded experience that blends competition with camaraderie. Whether it’s shredding singletrack, camping under the stars, or representing the team at some of California’s most iconic race events, our riders gain more than just medals they gain lifelong memories and skills.

We don’t hold tryouts. Every rider on our team is hand-selected through a thoughtful and personalized application process. We seek not only talent but also attitude, character, and a genuine love for the sport. Our goal is to build a team of riders who support each other, push their limits, and live the values of hard work, fun, and respect for the trail.
